Independent Care

The Independent Care program provides services for disabled or elderly on an individual basis who have not qualified for Medicaid either because they have not applied or because they have too much income.

Because we are a non-profit, Helping the Aging, Needy and Disabled is able to provide quality in-home attendant care at a very affordable fee. The client chooses the tasks to be done and the days and times of service each week. The Independent Care Coordinator makes an initial interview appointment in the client’s home at no charge.

Intermittent care can be arranged for a person who is visiting in Austin with prior notification.
