Volunteer Opportunities

Special Events Assistant

Helping the Aging, Needy and Disabled, Inc. hosts special events such as educational seminars, fundraisers and other occasions. Special Events Assistants are needed to help organize and facilitate the planning of the event.

Special Events Assistants help with:

• Planning and preparation for the event.
• Facilitating the day of to make sure things run smoothly.
• Collecting prizes to be awarded, raffled or auctioned off at the event

By volunteering to assist with our special events you are helping to show our clients and attendants how valued they truly are.

Assist our case managers and personal care attendants in support of home maintenance activities for the elderly and disabled by delivering to the clients' homes such as: Cleaning and sanitation supplies and Personal hygiene products.

Assist in providing "system navigation" for our clients and elderly consumers who contact our agency through a referral network of over sixty agencies and providers.
