Have you ever thought about what would happen to you
if no one cared?
By 2010, the first "Baby Boomers" will turn 65. The "biggest generation" will become the biggest aging population in our history.
The need for care of elderly and disabled individuals will continue to grow, and the importance of consumer choice in services delivered at home and in the community is becoming increasingly recognized.
More and more families are learning about and understanding that there are alternatives to long-term care in anursing home. Texas seniors and their families need to know about the whole range of available services so that they can choose services that match their needs and their budgets.
Every dollar you give translates directly into caring, compassionate services for the elderly and disabled residents we serve.
Many elderly and disabled people live just above the Federal Poverty Guidelines and so do not qualify for Medicaid. They must pay for their own medical and living expenses, so they often live in poverty. They do not eat regularly and have no one there to help them with household chores or assist them to take a shower. After they pay their rent, utilities, medical insuance or doctor bills, and prescription there is nothing left. By the time they give us a call, they are desperate for help and afraid that they will have to leave the comfort of their home for a nursing home.
With the state and other agencies cutting back on finances for the elderly, needy and disabled the majority of clients live in poverty stricken areas and have no other assistance to lean on help.
Our Mission:
Enhancing dignity and independence for the elderly and disabled by providing compassionate, quality care.
